Zemlinsky Quartet

Since its foundation in 1994, the Zemlinsky Quartet, from the Czech Republic, has continued the deep Czech tradition of the string quartet. The Quartet has won many competitions, received top prizes in the Banff International String Quartet Competition in 2007, and has performed in many countries around the world

The concert is open to the public with no admission charge, donations are appreciated.

The Zemlinsky Quartet's appearance in Joplin is funded in part by Empire District Electric Company and the Missouri Arts Council, a state agency.
