Zemlinsky Quartet
The Quartet has won many competitions, and received top prizes in the Banff International String Quartet Competition in 2007.

Gabriel Cabezas, cello, Andrew Tyson, piano
Cellist Gabriel Cabezas, born in 1992, began his music studies at age four and has won numerous awards and performed as guest soloist with top orchestras. Andrew Tyson, 22, is already the recipient of many awards and prizes.

Harlem Quartet
This Quartet of all-Black and Latino musicians made their debut at Carnegie Hall in 2006 to rave reviews.

Philharmonia of the Nations
The Philharmonia of the Nations, composed of highly talented young musicians from over 40 countries and five continents, was founded by its director, Justus Frantz, in 1995. Their return to Joplin will feaure, Jon Nakamatsu, pianist and Gold Medalist of the Van Cliburn piano competition in 1997, as guest soloist.

Ticket prices TBA.
A Patron Party will precede the concert.

30th Annual Joplin PoPs
On the oval at Missouri Southern State University, Joplin.
Please bring your own seating. Tickets are $12.50 in advance, $15 at the gate. Children 12 and under are admitted free. In case of rain the concert will be presented in the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.

Come early and bring your picnic dinner to "eat on the grounds" before the concert.
