28th Annual Joplin Pops
A program of light classics and show tunes "under the stars" by the Overland Park Civic Band, with soloist Gary Schutza, principal trumpet of the Kansas City Symphony.
Attendees are invited to bring their picnic dinners for "dinner on the grounds" preceding the concert. There will be lollipops for everyone, door prizes, treats provided by Edward Jones, and popcorn and tee shirts for sale.
Deli du Jour and Take Away Cafe will offer special box dinners by advance order (you will pick them up at the restaurant).
Bring your own seating.
